Mechanical Works
We install air conditioning, heating and cooling, water supply, hot water and drainage, heat source and control systems. Our projects include new builds, extensions and repairs for military facilities, schools and office buildings.

How air and water serve a room
Air unit & ducts
Separate supply and return paths; review ceiling ducts and maintenance access.
Heat source & pump
Water circuits connect the heat source to points of use, with access for valves and equipment.
Occupied space
Review air distribution and system connections for the use of each room.
A schematic of components and review points, not an engineering or equipment-layout drawing.
Main scope of work
Air conditioning, heating and cooling
Air conditioning manages indoor temperature, humidity and air quality. Air handling units, fans and ductwork move the air, while chilled and hot water pipes carry energy from the heat source. Replacing only the heating and cooling equipment differs from also replacing the ducts and pipes, in both demolition scope and work sequence.
Water supply, hot water, drainage and sanitary systems
Supply and hot water pipes serve basins, kitchens and other fixtures, and drainage pipes carry used water away. In existing buildings we review which zones can have the water shut off, where new pipes will connect and whether access panels remain reachable. Drainage needs the right fall and connection height, so ceiling void depth and floor levels are key conditions.
Heat source and energy supply
Boilers, chillers and other heat sources form one system with pumps, pipes and valves. Replacing equipment involves more than capacity: the delivery route, base position, connection sizes and maintenance space all need review. Even when new equipment fits, its position may need adjusting if there is too little space to connect it to existing pipework.
Controls and specialist systems
Building controls run equipment according to temperature, pressure and other sensor readings. A valve can respond to temperature changes, for example, or pumps can run in step with other equipment. We check sensor positions, control panel connections and interfaces with existing monitoring systems, then set the scope according to the design documents.
Site example
Replacing HVAC and water services in a school kitchen
An example in which a school kitchen is renovated during the holidays and back in use before term starts. It does not describe an actual project.
Site conditions
The hood and exhaust duct are replaced, and water supply and drainage pipes move to suit the new counter layout. Adjacent spaces stay in use, so water shutdown zones and material delivery routes must be kept separate.
Review sequence
Check existing duct sizes and the ceiling height. Mark where new pipes cross beams or cable conduits, and adjust drainage connection heights and access panel positions together.
Work coordination
Plan the sequence: demolition, supports, pipes and ducts, insulation, then inspection before finishes. Connections that will be hard to reach later are scheduled for checking before they are covered.
Example handover records
Revised pipe routes, main valve locations, inspection items and operating notes. Equipment performance and test conditions follow the approved design documents.
