Privacy Policy

This policy describes the handling of personal information associated with the ELIM ENC website and email enquiries.

Effective date: 21 October 2026

1. Scope and contact channels

This policy covers the company website and project, technology and recruitment enquiries sent by email. Employee records and project-contract records are subject to separate notices and retention rules for those activities.

The website has no account registration, online application submission or payment features. Email links open your email application. An enquiry reaches the company mailbox only when you send it.

2. Information and purposes

General enquiries: names, organisations, roles, email addresses, phone numbers, messages and attachments voluntarily supplied by the sender are used to review and respond to the enquiry and discuss the related work.

Recruitment: contact details, positions of interest, experience, qualifications and application documents supplied by applicants are used to respond to recruitment enquiries and review applications. Submit application documents through the channel specified by the company.

Do not send unnecessary sensitive information, national identification numbers or bank details. Limit third-party personal information in drawings or other attachments to what is needed for your enquiry.

3. Grounds and retention

Information needed to respond to a request to enter into a contract or to perform a contract is processed for that purpose. Where separate consent is required, an appropriate notice and consent process will be provided.

General enquiries, including recruitment enquiries that are not applications: six months from completion of the response.

Recruitment application documents: six months from the end of the relevant recruitment process. These periods are company-selected rules, not universal statutory retention periods. Retention in a separate talent pool requires a separate notice and any required consent.

If an enquiry results in a contract or employment, only the necessary information is transferred to the relevant records. Information subject to statutory retention is identified and kept separately with its legal basis and period; contract retention rules are not automatically applied to all enquiries.

4. Deletion

Information is deleted without undue delay when its retention period ends or it is no longer needed for its purpose, unless the law requires specific information to be retained separately.

Electronic files and company-held email attachments or working copies are deleted, and paper records are destroyed appropriately. Cloud replicas and backups follow the provider’s deletion process. Google’s data processing terms allow up to 180 days for system deletion following an instruction triggered by deletion that the customer cannot recover, subject to legal retention exceptions. This does not extend our period for using enquiry or application records.

5. Disclosure, service providers and overseas transfers

Where disclosure to a third party is required, the recipient, purpose, information and retention period will be addressed under an applicable legal basis or consent process.

Vercel Inc.: website hosting, content delivery, troubleshooting and security. Information needed to serve and protect website requests is processed through the service. This website has no upload endpoint that receives CVs or email attachments.

Google Workspace provider (Google and subprocessors under its service terms): business email receipt, delivery, storage, spam filtering and security. Enquiry and application messages and attachments are processed.

We limit processing to the entrusted work and manage protection and subprocessing obligations under the service terms. Personal information is not sold or supplied as advertising lists.

6. International processing and your choices

The website uses Vercel and company email uses Google Workspace with default settings and no company-selected data region. These services are not represented as storing data only in Korea.

Vercel’s terms identify its principal processing facilities as being in the United States, while allowing processing wherever Vercel or its subprocessors operate. Request information is transmitted over the network when the website is accessed for delivery, reliability and security. Retention follows the service policies and settings applicable to the record type.

Google Workspace processes messages through Google and its subprocessors when email is sent, received, stored, backed up or supported. Information can include email addresses, names and organisations supplied by senders, message contents, attachments and delivery information. The purposes are email delivery, storage and security. Our use and retention periods are set out in section 3.

Google’s terms permit processing in countries where Google or its subprocessors maintain facilities, including the United States. Official location and subprocessor information is linked below. The list does not mean that this company’s messages are transferred to every listed country.

Provider privacy contacts and processing information are available in the official documents below. You may also contact our privacy contact for assistance.

Processing and storage necessary to enter into or perform a contract follow applicable disclosure and notification requirements. Where separate consent is required, it is obtained separately. Visiting the website or sending email is not treated as blanket consent to international transfers.

If you do not wish to send personal information through these services, contact our main phone number to discuss another contact method before sending it. You may request suspension or deletion of information already sent. This may limit email responses or application review.

7. Cookies and server logs

The current website code contains no analytics or advertising cookies, visitor-account storage or visitor analytics scripts. Vercel content delivery, troubleshooting and security services may process IP addresses, requested URLs, access times, browser information and error or security records. We do not use those records for targeted advertising or profiling. Hosting records are distinct from enquiry emails and follow the service policies and settings applicable to each record type; the six-month email rule does not apply to all hosting logs.

If cookies or analytics are added, their purposes, information, retention and refusal options will be disclosed. Browser settings can be used to restrict or delete cookies.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing or withdrawal of consent by contacting the person below. Identity or authority may be checked only to the extent needed to process the request.

If applicable law restricts a request, the reason will be explained. Any effect of deletion on responding to an enquiry or reviewing an application will also be explained.

9. Safeguards

Access to personal information is limited to personnel who need it for their work. Accounts, passwords and records are managed, and information is reviewed for deletion after its retention period.

We manage purpose restrictions, access controls, protection in transit, incident response and deletion under the providers’ data processing terms, alongside our own account and records management responsibilities.
